This Saturday, I begin the longest cycling trip of my life so far. I will be doing the famous Land’s End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) ride solo. It’s going to involve over 1000 miles of road, 13 days in the saddle, 6 days sleeping out in the wild and an awful lot of vegan grub in any shape and form I can get my hands on.
I will be going through Bristol, Birmingham, Preston, Glasgow, Inverness as well as many other smaller towns along the way. If you live in any of these places and would like to say hi along the way then send me a message and we could try and sort it out. I also may need a place to stay in Bristol on the 15th July and possibly Inverness on the 24th, so if you can help with that then please get in contact.
As part of this challenge, I am trying to raise some money for a charity called Rape Crisis which supports survivors of rape in England & Wales. So if you want to donate then head over to the JustGiving fundraising page. I am trying to raise £1000 - which is £1 for each mile I am riding. Your support means a hell of a lot to me and to those that this charity helps.
I am taking my GoPro with me so I will be getting all sorts of awesome footage. I have bought extra batteries and another SD card just so I can capture it all. I am hoping to be able to put together a truly inspiring and beautiful video for you all. Last time I did a big bike trip I made a YouTube video for it and everyone loved it so this should be even better.
Now, I just need to sort my bike out, get very few clothes together and jam my iPod full of positive dance music and podcasts to keep my going. Please, if nothing else, can everyone wish me good weather on my travels?
Prospective dates/locations:
12th - Arrive at Land’s End13th - Exeter15th - Bristol16th - Birmingham17th - Preston18th - Lake Thirlmere in the Lake District (wild camping)19th - Somewhere in south Scotland (wild camping)20th - Glasgow23rd - Fort William (wild camping)24th - Inverness then head north (wild camping)25th - North coast of Scotland (wild camping)26th - John O’Groats then head south (wild camping)27th - Inverness to get a bus home to London
See you on the road!

Haven’t done one of these in a while. Goofing around before grace on the 4th. This is the end of my bulk cycle. Just started cutting so let’s see how this goes! Let the hunger begin :)
